Partners

The Nicholson Foundation’s partners represent many areas within the health, education and human services systems, including child welfare, childcare, juvenile justice, criminal justice, substance abuse treatment, workforce development, education, welfare and other entitlements, housing, and economic development.

The Foundation works with organizations and individuals who share our goal of improving the lives of the children and families in New Jersey.  Below is a representative list of our partners:

  • Local Government:  Essex County Department of Citizen Services, Department of Corrections, Department of Economic Development, Training & Employment, Office of Workforce Development, and Office of the County Executive; the Superior Court of New Jersey – Essex Vicinage; the Mayor’s Office of the City of Newark and the Newark Workforce Investment Board; the Newark Public Schools; and the Jersey City Public Schools.
